WOMBAT ROOM

WOMBAT ROOM

The Wombat Room caters for children aged 2 to 3 years, offering a tailored program designed to support learning, discovery, and growth through interest-based activities. Our program encourages little ones to investigate, explore, and engage with the world around them in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. At this stage of development, children are encountering new challenges every day, and they learn most effectively when given opportunities to be curious, experiment, and develop independence.

In the Wombat Room, our educators focus on fostering each child’s natural sense of wonder while supporting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Through guided play, hands-on activities, storytelling, music, and movement, children develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with others. We also provide a variety of sensory and creative experiences that inspire imagination, self-expression, and critical thinking.

The developmental goals and objectives for children in the Wombat Room are guided by and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), ensuring that every child’s learning journey is purposeful, meaningful, and tailored to their individual needs. Our educators carefully observe and document each child’s progress, providing experiences that challenge, delight, and encourage them to reach their full potential.

At Liverpool Early Learning Centre, the Wombat Room is more than just a classroom—it’s a place where young children feel secure, valued, and excited to explore. Here, every small step is celebrated, every achievement is acknowledged, and every child is supported as they grow, learn, and discover the joy of learning for themselves.

KANGA ROOM

KANGA ROOM

The Kanga Room caters for children aged 3 to 5 years and offers a tailored program based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), maintaining a strong focus on the value of play-based learning that best suits each individual child. This stage is a pivotal time in your child’s development, as they begin to transition towards ‘big school’—an exciting milestone for both children and families.

At this age, children are actively exploring friendships, developing independence, learning to make decisions, and discovering their unique talents and abilities. These experiences lay the foundation for lifelong learning and personal growth. In the Kanga Room, our educators provide a rich, engaging, and supportive environment where children can confidently navigate these developmental milestones.

Our comprehensive School Readiness Program is designed to build strong emotional, social, and intellectual foundations to ensure a smooth transition into school. Through structured and play-based activities, children develop essential skills such as problem-solving, self-regulation, communication, teamwork, and resilience. We aim to foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence, enabling each child to approach school with enthusiasm and a love for learning.

We are deeply passionate about supporting each child’s learning journey in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way. By combining play, exploration, and intentional learning experiences, we help children acquire and retain key skills that prepare them for success in kindergarten and beyond. In the Kanga Room, every achievement is celebrated, every child is encouraged to reach their potential, and every day is an opportunity for growth, discovery, and joyful learning.
